I hope you all enjoyed yourselves at today’s event. The weather gods smiled on us and that, coupled with the quality of the terrain at Bradgate, made for a high turnout, with some courses being over-subscribed. I’m grateful to those of you who handed in your maps at the finish so that they could be recycled, allowing other competitors to go out on their preferred course. Please email me (lizharvey1@gmail.com) if you would like a copy of your map and haven’t already received it in the next day or so.
My thanks to Iain (planner) and Simon (controller) for all their hard work in the run up to today, particularly setting out controls in the less-than-pleasant conditions yesterday. I’d also like to thank the small army of helpers who assisted in the run-up and with the many jobs on the day today. Your support is invaluable and the event could not have been a success without you.
Our next event is the East Midlands Championships at Wakerley Woods on Sunday 27th November. I hope to see many of you there - don’t forget to register by 20th November!
