Car sharing would be appreciated, as only 35 spaces.
If this car park is full, street parking on the roads to the North of the main road through Barrow would be suitable but park with due consideration for the residents please.
Start: On the High Street, opposite the Co-op and outside the Barrow Parish Council Office.
Terrain: Typical urban mix of residential and commercial areas.
Usual constraints on urban events: Take care for other people who will not expect you. Run wide, give way, be polite and if it looks private do not go there. If someone says you are trespassing, apologise for the planners mistake!
Not all controls will be on stakes. Some will be on lamposts. All will have flags.

Control Descriptions: Separate as they do not fit on the map. Bring a control descriptions holder.
Courses Close: 8pm.
Because of the nature of the area, earlier controls on your course may be collected before course closing time. The last ten controls on the Long and Medium will be collected last, but please be back by 8pm.
Juniors: Short course is suitable for any junior who is traffic aware enough to cross quiet roads. Suggest accompaniment for the Medium and Long courses, though all roads are 30mph or less and traffic calmed or twisty/narrow enough for speed to be less than 30mph. Obviously, as an urban event, nowhere is traffic free!
Safety: A risk assessment has been carried out by the Organiser and all reasonable care has been taken to ensure the safety of competitors. However, participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
