Late entries and Entry on the Day: This is possible via The Start Kite depending on map availability. No cash entry on the day.
New to Orienteering? If you are new to orienteering, please make yourself known to the organiser at registration and advice will be available.
Parking: At the end of Smithy Lane which is a turn of the B4669 Sapcote Road, Burbage. (Opposite D.Tallis Hire Ltd). No Cost. Small parking area and then its road side parking.
What Three Words: bounding,sprinting,skylights
Start and Finish: both close to the Car Park.
Terrain: Flat open areas and woodland with variable runnability and path network. Burbage Common is an example of Leicestershire’s propensity for nettles and
Brambles. The planning has taken this in to account. Also, you may wish to consider leg and arm covering. If it’s been wet the woodland areas may be muddy.

Safety: A risk assessment has been carried out by the Organiser and all reasonable care has been taken to ensure the safety of competitors. However, participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
Please note: Burbage Common is very popular with visitors and dog walkers. Please give them priority and courteous considerations and take care around dogs.

Summer League
The 2025 LEI Summer League consists of 17 events taking place from April to August on midweek evenings with Starts usually from 6.00pm to 7.00pm. They include Long, Score, Sprint and Urban events.
