Permanent Orienteering Courses (POCs) provide an opportunity for individuals and groups to orienteer at any time. Courses vary in technical difficulty. Some are designed for children and beginners whilst others offer more of a challenge.
If you have not used a permanent course before the recent Youtube video is designed to help you.

The map below shows the location of POCs. Please note that some areas have different start points so you should choose the one that suits you best.
You will then be able to print them out on your own printer – quality will depend on your printer and paper used.

Control markers do get damaged or go missing from time to time. When you have visited a POC we would be very interested in hearing about your experience. In particular we would would like to be made aware of any damaged or missing control points. [Fill in feedback form]
